- I value Friendship, Family, Tradition, Spirituality, and Happiness. I value friendship because I think that it’s good to know someone who has your back in certain situations. I value Family because I grew up with a big family, and even without one of them, my life would feel empty. I value tradition because my Jamaican culture is very important to me, because both of my parents grew up Jamaican and I want to pass some of the traditions they did down to my kids. I value my spirituality because I grew up in a church where those people who attend the services are my family. And my faith is very important to me because it gives me a sense of meaning and a clearer direction in life. I value my happiness because friendship, family, tradition, and spirituality is the main reason of happiness in my life.

- A time where I learned that family was important to me was during COVID when my family stayed inside the house 90% of the time. I was quickly getting bored of them because I lived with them 24/7. It was when I saw the news that people were losing their loved ones that I realized that I should be grateful for the family that I have because some people have none.
