Lanternflies are bugs that suck the sap and nutrients out of trees. They are an invasive species, and a major problem.Apparently they have reached over a dozen states!
Oh, No! That's terrible!How do we stop them?
Its easy, Just squish them,then check around for more, they tend to appear in groups.
Where do you usually find them?
Well, there are a ton in DC but you can also find them on trees and in your local park, just keep an eye out and you'll find them
how did they get here?

They probably arrived on goods imported from china(were there originally from). There were enough predators in china to keep their population under control, but here they can run wild.
Are there any pesticides for them?
Sadly there are no pesticides specifically for lanternflies.
Thats terrible!
Don't worry as long as we kill them and warn others we should be good to go!
