  • Hi! My name is Sam. I'm on my way to the gym to do some training, specifically cardiovascular, flexibility, and resistance training.
  • Each one of these training's helps me stay healthy in different ways. Cardiovascular focuses on my heart, flexibility on my range of motion, and resistance training focuses on my strength.

  • Caloric balance is also a very important topic. Caloric balance is the amount of calories going in your body vs the amount going out. If more calories are going out then in, you lose weight. If more calories are going in than out, you gain weight.
  • Considering factors when choosing a physical activity is important for your safety. A few things to consider could be health conditions, cost of activity, your personality, weather in your area etc. I chose track as it was right for me.

  • Different types of physical activity benefit you in different ways. It is important you know benefits and how to avoid risks of your physical activity. Getting injured in sports and other activities is very common.
  • Body composition is also something to keep in mind. Body composition is the proportions of fat, muscle, and other tissues that make a persons body
  • Injuries from sports can be prevented by having a routine. Warming up before a sport and cooling down after decreases the risk of getting an injury. .
