- The Aztec believed in many Gods. The religion that the Aztecs believed in was called Polytheistic. For the Aztecs one of the most important God's was the Huitzilopochtli. The Huitzilopochtli was the known as the god of war.
- The offering to our god. Here i present you the human heart!!
- The Aztec's would sacrifice humans as offerings to their gods. The people chosen to be sacrifice to the gods were the prisoners and people captured from the war that belonged from another civilization.Regardless of their age gender and social standing. 
- We cheer as we have sacrificed many humans to our gods.
- It was believed that many of their wars were a way of gathering victims. The human sacrificing took in the great temple which had twin shrines. One shrine was meant for the god of rain " and the other for Huitzilopochtli the god of god of war. 
- The Aztec priest would kill its victims with a sacrificial dagger. It was believed that the victims blood would give life to their sun. With each drop of blood it would give the sun it's strength. The victims heart would be either placed in a stone vase or eaten by the priest.
- The victims head would be removed from its body and the body would then be rolled down the steps of the temple. The heads where known to be placed on skull racks that were located on the base of the temple.
- Human sacrificing went on for hundreds of years and ended on March 1519. When the conquistador Hernan Cortez invaded the Aztec empire along with the Spaniards and conquered it all in within two years. Which then changed the spiritual and human sacrificing rituals to history.
