- Battle of Marathon
- Okay everybody pack up its been 3 days and the Greeks still haven't shown up.

- The Persians showed up at Marathon with 600 ships. After 3 days the Greeks never showed up and decided that they weren't coming. The Greeks then came charging down the hill onto Marathon and defeated the Persians.
- Battle of Thermopylae
- I know a trail you can follow to attack the Greeks from behind and defeat them
- The Persians arrived at Greece with 200,000 soldiers, looking to invade it. The Greek city-states had to come together to fight the Persians. The Spartans had the most soldiers, and the Athenians controlled the navy.
- Battle of Salamis
- I can't move!!!
- King Leonidas controlled the Spartan Military of 7000 soldiers. The Spartans' plan was to cut off the Persian's food supply and to keep them from reaching Athens.
- Battle of Plataea
- Yes we won!!!
- A traitor helped the Persians by telling them a path to attack the Greeks from behind and defeat them. King Leonidas kept only 3 of his soldiers and fought to the end. The Greeks lost and the Persians won.
- What is it? Tell us!
- The Battle of Thermopylae gave Themistocles time to carry out his plan to attack Persia's ships. The Athenians lured the Persians into the straight of Salamis. The Persian ships were to maneuver, but the Athenian ships were smaller so they could move around and trap the Persians. The Greeks sank 300 ships and won the Battle of Salamis.

- The Greek city-states came together to form the biggest army yet. Both sides had over 100,000 soldiers, and the Greeks defeated the Persians and the Persians no longer had control over the Greek city-states. They eventually found peace with each other. The Persian empire declined and weakened shortly after.
