Študenti si musia uvedomiť, že naše slová majú dôsledky. Keď sú obeťami šikanovania, zažívajú strach, úzkosť a zníženú sebaúctu. To môže viesť k tomu, že obete zmenia svoje správanie a záujmy, aby sa ubezpečili, že sú v bezpečnej situácii. Často to končí izoláciou a stratou predchádzajúcich záujmov, ako sú športy, kluby, socializácia. To môže tiež viesť k extrémnejším výsledkom. Ak sa obete cítia, že nie sú akceptované, môžu si vytvoriť nebezpečné návyky, ktoré pomôžu vyrovnať sa s týmto stresom. Môže sa to prejaviť ako závislosť, porucha príjmu potravy alebo dokonca sebapoškodzovanie.
V rámci tejto aktivity si študenti vytvoria časový rozvrh obete šikanovania. Aktivity, ako sú uvedené, môžu študentom pomôcť vizualizovať vplyv ich slov tým, že im pomôžu premýšľať skôr, ako začnú hovoriť. Cieľom tejto činnosti je zabrániť šikanovaniu. Po ukončení práce študentov diskutujte o tom, ako môže dlhodobý účinok pretrvávať do dospelosti.
