  • Congress never had the authority to make a bank, so why should I recharter it?
  • Now that the Natives are removed from Georgia, the common people can now settle in the new land!
  • But President Jackson clearly violated the Supreme Court's decision! It's unconstitutional!
  • RECHARTER VETOED!
  • President Jackson's actions throughout the 1830s were extremely controversial - enough so that many thought he should be impeached. It eventually led to the birth of the Whig Party, led by Henry Clay, to oppose Jackson himself. Jackson's Presidency was extremely controversial - as demonstrated by these three separate events. THE END!
  • Finally! A president attacking the rich! I'm definitely reelecting him!
  • I am proud to accept my reelection! This just shows how my actions, such as removing the bank, have gained public support!
  • Congress,  1832
  • Justivc Marshall's decision was made after the Worcester vs. Georgia case involving the Cherokee Natives in Georgia.

  • But Mr. President, Justice Marshall declared the Cherokees sovereign. Removing them forcefully would be unconstitutitonal!
  • Nonsense. Those Natives are stopping us from expanding westward. Noe start removing them, Vice President Van Buren
  • I have now signed the Indian Removal Act into law! Now we can begin the Cherokee, Chikasaw and Choctaw removal to the Oklahoma territory.
  • This removal of native is what is now known as the Trail of Tears - 3,000 natives died on the journey to Oklahoma.
  • Vice President Van Buren! What is the meaning of this? Why are you removing us?
  • I'm sorry Major Ridge, but President Jackson has signed the Indian Removal Act into - forcing us to move you to the Indian Territory in Oklahoma.
