- Henry ll made Thomas Becket the Arch-Bishop of Canterbury. Thomas lives up to his title and starts telling Henry that he doesn't like how he is ruling the country. They fall out.
- Becket flees to France for 6 years!
- Becket returns and they try to get on. But when Becket excommunicated all the bishops that helped Henry ll while he was away, Henry fires up again. They fall out once again.
- Henry lost his temper and shouted "Is there no one who will rid me of this troublesome priest!". But some of Henry's knights heard him...
- The knights that had heard him decided to help the King. They thought they were following his orders. They went to the cathedral and murdered Thomas Becket.
