Yes, I’m just getting all the documents scanned to prepare for reporting to DCGI and EC. Have to also email documents to Zoya, the SM after entering in CRF.
Ok! Ensure that subjects PII is masked before sharing documents with Zoya.
What is PII? I'm not sure what to mask
Well, any information that can trace a patients identity such as their full name or date of birth or initials is known as PII. that is Personally Identifiable Information .
Oh God! That means I’ll have to black-out or put a stickie on the patient's PII before scanning them.Let me quickly rush back and check this..

Oh! here is a stickie that Zoya put up as a reminder last time.....I remember now....
Hide PII before sharing with me i.e. Name, DOB, Initials, MRD #, OPD #, Hide with stickies or make black boxes with markers before scanning & emailing...
but just in case you already sent it without redacting….what will you do??? Watch this space for more..
