- The King and The father of Oedipus tries to get rid of him after his mom gives birth to him because he heard the prophecy about his son from an oracle at the church.The prophecy said that Oedipus will kill his father and marry his own mother!.Therefore,the king tried not to let this happen at any cost.So,he wanted to kill his son to avoid that terrible fate!.

- I am murderer! I was angry and accidentally killed that man in the carriage! I must leave and run away far from these lands to avoid that prophecy to happen!
- After hearing the prophecy about his future Oedipus was terrified and ran away from the temple.When he arrived on crossroads he got into conflict with people who were there and he beats them up and overturns the cart.The old man sitting in the cart,struck his head on a stone and dies there immediately.Oedipus realizes what he have done and promises himself never to be violent and try to help people.He decides to flee from Corinth and go far away from his parents so,he will never hurt them because of his cursed fate!

- After defeating the Sphinx by solving its riddle,Oedipus becomes the king of Thebes as people acknowledge him as their hero and proclaim him as their new king and ask him to marry the Queen Jocasta!.Oedipus marries the queen Jocasta and will have four kids with her not knowing that she is his own biological mother!
