  • God orders Moses and Aaron to free the Israelites. Aaron is sent, by God to tell the Pharaoh to let go of the Israelites and if he doesn’t Moses will be ordered to bring down a plague and show the Egyptians some of God’s power. Aaron is given a staff and goes to the Pharaoh. The Pharaoh ordered Aaron to perform a wonder and so Aaron threw down the staff and it transformed into a snake. The Pharaoh ordered all the magicians of Egypt to perform the same fate. They succeeded, but Aarons snake ate all the other snakes. The still Pharaoh didn’t listen.
  • The Pharaoh didn't let the Israelites go even after seeing the wonder. God told Moses and Aaron to go to the Pharaoh Moses went to meet the Pharaoh at the river. He said to him, “The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, sent me to say, ‘Let my people go, so that they can worship me in the wilderness, but until now you have not listened. By this you shall know that I am the Lord.’” Moses raises his staff over the Nile river and it turns to blood. All the fish which were in the water died and they smelt of a horrible stench. The Pharaoh pleaded with Aaron to transform the river back to water and that he would free the Israelites. So Aaron did, though when the threat wasn't clear anymore the Pharaoh backed on his word and didn't do it. Once this happened God was unhappy and told Moses and Aaron to tell the Pharaoh that if he doesn’t free the Israelites then he shall plague Egypt with frogs. So Aaron went to the Pharaoh and said this. The Pharaoh wouldn’t listen so Aaron held his staff over a river and frogs from all over Egypt came out of it. The frogs were chaotic. The Pharaoh pleaded with Aaron and promised to let go of the Israelites, but the same thing happened and he reversed his promise once the danger was over.
  • God ordered Moses to strike the Earth with his staff, as soon as Moses did this thousands of gnats came pouring out of the ground. They bit both humans and animals. So the Pharaoh called out for Aaron and so he came and took the Gnats away on the promise of the release of the Israelites. The Pharaoh reversed his promise as soon as the danger was out of the way.The next day, early in the morning Moses rose with the sun. He went to the Pharaoh and said this, “Thus says the Lord: Let my people go or else I will send loads of flies.” The Pharaoh didn’t listen, so thousands of flies plague Egypt. So the Pharaoh called out for Aaron and so he came and took the Gnats away on the promise of the release of the Israelites. The Pharaoh reversed his promise as soon as the danger was out of the way.
  • Moses went to warn the Pharaoh about the next plague. It was going to affect all the Egyptian livestock. The Pharaoh would not listen and so the livestock fell and became ill. All the livestock except the livestock of the Israelites. So the Pharaoh called out for Aaron and so he came and the livestock recovered on the promise of the release of the Israelites. The Pharaoh reversed his promise as soon as the danger was out of the way. Moses listened for God the next day, and the Lord told him to take handfuls of soot from a kiln and throw it into the air. So he did. Everyone in Egypt erupted with horrible, hideous boils. They were painful and terrible. So the Pharaoh called out for Aaron and so he came and the boils disappeared on the promise of the release of the Israelites. The Pharaoh reversed his promise as soon as the danger was out of the way.

Moses went to the Pharaoh and said “Thus says the Lord: The next three days shall be thunder and hail. Anyone who is outside in this storm shall die.” The Pharaoh ignored this warning. Though the word went out. Some farmers ignored this while others didn’t. The ones who didn’t died. The Pharaoh called out for Aaron and he came and the storm subsided. With the promise of the Israelites being freed. The Pharaoh reversed his promise as soon as danger was out of sight. The next day locust swarms came to Egypt. They came in thousands, millions and billions. The locusts destroyed all the crops and came into the houses eating all the food. So the Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and the locusts went away on the promise of the Israelites leaving, though as soon as the danger was gone the Pharaoh reversed it.
  • God ordered Moses to stretch out his hands over the sky. Moses did so and darkness spread over Egypt. It stayed like this for three days. Everything was darkness, it wasn’t even a normal type of darkness this darkness could be felt and created emptiness. The Pharaoh had enough of this dark and summoned Moses. Moses lifted the darkness. The Pharaoh said, “Go, worship the Lord. Only your flocks and herds shall stay behind. Even your children may go with you.” Moses shook his head and answered, “You must also let us have sacrifices and burnt offerings to the Lord, our God. Our livestock must also come with us; no hoof shall be left behind.” This made the Pharaoh change his mind. The next day Moses returned with Aaron and said, “Thus says the Lord: About midnight I will go through Egypt. Every firstborn in the land shall die, from the firstborn from the Pharaoh to the firstborn of a slave. Even the firstborns of livestock shall die.” The Pharaoh fell to his knees and pleaded that this terror shouldn’t happen. Since he himself had a firstborn son and he didn’t want him to die. He accepted all the conditions and let the Israelites go free.
