There was once a king incharge of Lydia. His name was King Midas. He had a family. A loving wife and a daughter but he was desperate for MORE.
Climax
He King Midas was going for a walk in the park when he was the satyr. He called over his gardner and asked it who it was. He said it was a satyr. He talked to the satyr and made a deal that he would entertain him if midas did not tell his master. So he accepted the deal.
Falling action
As he took the satyr back to where he came from he saw dionysus. The God was pleased on how Midas took care of his satyr so he offered a deal. He said that he will give him anything he wanted so Midas said he wanted the golden touch to rule over everybody. So he got that.
Resolution
He quickly realizes it was a mistake to have the golden touch because everything he touches turns golden. He goes to eat and his food turns golden. He goes to drink and the same thing happens. He then decides to leave but then his daughter gave him a hug and now she is golden. He rushes back to the Gods.
He explains he wants to give his gift back.He does not want the golden touch anymore. The God explains he needs to go to the river pactolus and bath in it. So off goes Midas.
He baths in the river and just like that his golden touch is worn off. His daughter comes running thru the trees to see her father and she is not gold anymore. He was happy and learned that he should never be greedy again.
