- Ignore the change of ship
- Florian, the shoe poet, and the wandering boy are getting checked in. Florian gets held back for extra inspection and he becomes very worried. He doesn't get caught for anything but he does anger the guard and raise his suspicion levels.
- While on the ship Florian realizes he will need some kind of hiding place. Alfred helps him find a place up in a chimney.
- The boat gets hit by a torpedo and the ship goes to chaos. The group finds each other and theres one life boat left. In the chaos the boat dropped with Florian, Joana, the wandering boy, and Emilia's baby. Alfred, Emilia, and Florian's pack remain on the boat.

- Everyone on the lifeboat is huddling hoping for every bit of warmth they can get. All hope is gone until they see the light of a rescue boat.
- Emilia and Alfred find a boat together. Alfred begins to lose his mind and falls into the ice cold water where he passes. Emilia has no hope and sadly, nobody saves her.
- Florian and Joana begin a life together raising Emilia's daughter and the wandering boy. Florian receives a letter from a person who found Emilias corpse on her property as well as Florian's bag. They tell him that they already buried the bag like he requested and that they hope him and Joana start an amazing life together.
