At a young age Grendel was seen as the outcast. He was constantly being made fun of. One day the Danes took it to far on a prank and a fire broke out where Grendel lived. No one helped him all hearing the screams of pain that Grendel was asking for help.

Saved by a miracle but after that day Grendel never looked the same. Seen as a monster, the living devil as the town saw him. The mother trying to protect his son made him flee to the marshes. Where he began to be filled with rage.

As time went on, Grendel became so enraged that he decided to finally get revenge for what they did to him and forruining his life. He decided to go back to Herot and kill all the men that burned him.

After his revenge on those who ruined his life, he fled back to his marsh never expecting anyone to come look for him ever again. But back at Herot Beowulf a hero came to help and get justice for this town.
Šmykľavka: 5
Beowulf seeking justice decided to call out Grendel. He then waited for him to initiate an attack on Herot. Which Grendel did, as he began killing men Beowulf attacked.
Šmykľavka: 6
Beowulf being considered supernatural beat Grendel in the battle. Which resulted in Grendel having his arm cut off and dying in the marsh.
