- Okay class we will be discussing about the scientists who helped in the development of theEM waves
- First we have faraday he formulated the principle's behind the Electromagnetic Induction. And next is Ampere he is the one who demonstrated the magnetic effect based on the direction of the current.
- Andre Marie Ampere: And I just found out that wireswere carrying current!
- Michael Faraday: I found out that the magnetic field created arounda conductor carried a direct current, thereby establishing the basis for the concept ofelectromagnetic field in physics.
- Next is Hertz he's the one who showed the experimental evidence of the Electromagnetic Waves and also their link to light, and the frequency is named after him.
- Heinrich Hertz: I know have the evidence of electromagneticwave and links it to light!
- Next is Maxwell, he contributed in developing the equations that shows the relationships between the electricity and magnetism.
- James Clerk Maxwell - I can now predict the connection of magnetism andelectricity leading directly to the prediction of electromagnetic waves.
- And Lastly Oersted, He showed how a current carrying wires behave like a magnet and without him the other scientist would not be able to formulate the Electromagnetic Wave Theory
- Hans Christian Oersted:YES! I Hans Christian Oersted have investigated that a current carrying wire caused to magnetized by a compass needle to deflect and creates magnetic fields!
