- Jesus travelled to the land of Jerusalem, and encountered Jewish authorities. One of the few parables he told them. Jesus starts by comparing the Kingdom of Heaven to a King who prepared a Wedding Banquet for his son.

- "Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet."(Matthew 22:4)

- The King once again ordered servants to tell the invited guests to come to the wedding banquet, But still they declined the invitation, but this time they had severe reactions.

- When the servants informed the citizens about the wedding banquet, most paid no attention and left, returning to their duty's. However, some citizens attacked and killed the servants.

- "The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find."(Matthew 22:8-9)

- The King was very upset, so he sent out his army to destroy the murderers and their city. He then instructed his servants to go out into the corners of the streets and invite anyone to his son's wedding banquet. The servants did what he said, The servants invited all types of people, the good and the bad. The banquet was then filled with guests.

- The Man Not Wearing Proper Clothes
- How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend?(Matthew 22:12)
- When the King looked around in the wedding hall, he found a man not wearing wedding clothes, which the man was speechless. This led the King to ask the man why he wasn't wearing any clothes. Then the king said "Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth'. For many are invited, but few are chosen" (Matthew 22: 13-14)
