A large-scale solution to combat the problem of pollutants in water is to start using renewable energy like wind energy from this turbine. You can never run out of wind energy, and it doesn't produce any harmful gases.

After taking this course, I've made a lot of changes in how I view and use water. I've made minimal changes such as taking shorter showers, and bigger changes like reducing the amount of impulse buying I do to lower my indirect water use. I have a better understanding of how pollution can affect water sources, and the many different problems water is facing in modern times. I value water as a resource significantly more, and I know that
Water is an essential resource that the world revolves around, and it's important that we as humans do our best to preserve it. After taking this course, I've made a lot of changes in how I view and use water.

Another way in which water can become polluted is through greenhouse gases like CO2 produced from factories or cars. Not only do these gases pollute the water, but they are also one of the main causes of global warming which also effects water.
