- Good afternoon, Mayor. Our research team conducted a study to understand the perceptions and motivations regarding a potential mass vaccination campaign in Springville. We used focused groups and semi-structured interviews and analyzed the data by thematic analysis We are very thrilled and thankful for the opportunity. Thematic analysis helped us uncover the meanings and nuances related to vaccines in Springville and we have discovered 4 themes.If Mayor allows, we would like to share our findingsThank you.

- 1. Conversely, trust in local health providers, community leader influences resident's attitude towards vaccine2.Many residents expressed concerns about potential side effects, misinformation they encountered especially on social media and distrust in government.
- 1. The thematic analysis shows that the vaccine acceptance in Springville is more shaped by interplay of knowledge gaps, trust dynamics, social motivation and structural constraints. 2.Springville community prefers to receive vaccine information from trusted healthcare providers and local community leaders.
