Text z Príbehu

  • The story Yertle the Turtle is a story made by Dr. Seuss that depicts the political German leader Adolf Hitler as a turtle with his rising power. Similar to the Animal Farm, political leaders are revealed as animals.
  • Realistically, Adolf Hitler used his army of 13.9 million to destroy the following countries: Poland, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxemburg, France, Yugoslavia, and Greece.
  • Adolf Hitler protected the Aryan race, which had physical features that included blonde hair and blue eyes. Adolf mostly hated Jewish people and loathed Christianity, even while his mother was a christian.
  • Adolf Hitler was depicted trying to rise himself up on the backs of other turtles. What this reveals in the story is Hitler wanted to rise himself up so his power gets stronger and so he can look at everything he wants so he can own it. Rising himself up and looking at things and owning them are related because as he owned more stuff, the more he rose in power.
  • In the story Yertle the Turtle, another aspect and value was revealed about Hitler. He did not care whether his people were hurt or not, they had to continue working. He treated them badly and ordered them to not complain and work.
  • Stop Complaining!
  • Ouch, our backs are hurting!
  • In the end, Hitler kept asking for more turtles to stack under him to make his throne. Thousands of turtles stacked up beneath him. In the end, the turtle that kept complaining, Mack, burped and shook the whole throne, and that was the end of Yertle the Turtle (Hitler)
