The main difference in college is the independence. This is why it is important to become a self-regulated learner but don’t worry as time goes on you’ll develop those skills
Being a self-regulated learner just means to take control of your own learning which is what college is all about.
Here are some steps you can take•Having a planner keeping track of all assignments and deadlines making sure to always meet those deadlines •Taking advantage of Professors office hours •Discussing with academic counselors •Discipline with study time
In college there’s so many routes you can take when struggling which will prevent you from failing courses. Especially at Lehman college there’s even tutoring if you need it! Take advantage of the extra support.
