Bernard's Story

- I was born and raised in New City. Most of my time was spent in church as a child, or incloved in some sporting activity. My occupation in NY was NYPD Sergeant. Shortly after the 9/11 incident, we decided to move to Richmond Va.
- We moved into a home in the county, where we raised our two children, one boy and one girl. Both of our children married young, and now we are blessed to have 3 Granddaughters.
- I am currently an employee of VCU as assistant manager with Parking and Transportation. Within next year, my goal is to work hard and complete more of my course work toward my degree.
