  • Šmykľavka: 1
  • Let’s start exploring! Before we go, here’s a quick review: conduction is heat transfer through direct contact, convection is the movement of heat through liquids or gases, and radiation is heat transfer without a medium. Now, let’s head out on our adventure! First, let us start with North India
  • Šmykľavka: 2
  • North Delhi tends to be cooler than the southern region because it experiences less radiation. We wear woolen and velvet clothing to stay warm, as these materials are good insulators and store heat. Our cuisine includes a variety of dairy products such as milk, paneer, ghee, and yogurt, (which is cooked through the process of convection)often used in rich gravies flavored with chilies, saffron, and nuts, thanks to the abundance of cattle in the area.
  • Šmykľavka: 3
  • We are currently in the southern part of India, specifically Kerala. Kerala is predominantly hot, which means it experiences more radiation than the northern regions. In the summer, we wear silk, which acts as an insulator, while in the winter, it functions as a conductor. The cuisine in Kerala primarily consists of seafood, which is heated using convection.
