Lamar is on the phone with his girlfriend Jada filled with excitement. They are discussing their plans for the camping trip as he waits for her arrival at his house.
Jada and Lamar are on their way to the camp site. As they make their way to the camp site the car begins to have trouble, so Lamar decides to pull over.
Lamar found a nearby town to pull over in. Jada gets out of the car an begins yelling at him and blaming him for their situation. She calls him "useless" and a " screw up and leaves him to fend for himself in the unknown town.
After Jada broke up with Lamar and left him by his lonesome. Lamar felt really alone since Jada was all he had. Lamar decided to ditch the broke down car and hitch hike his way home
A nice man named Mr. James noticed Lamar and gave him a ride to where he needed to go. Along the ride Lamar told Mr. James about how his girlfriend had left him and that he was now alone with no car. Mr James offered him a paid internship at his company, so that Lamar could get his mind off of the break up and make some money for a new car.
2 weeks later Lamar starts his first day of the internship and begins his new opportunity. Thanks to Mr. James, Lamar can begin saving up for his new car and meeting new people to fill the void that Jada left him with.
