We borrowed ideas of literature, art, politics, and law from the Mesopotamians.

We had good technology of wars. The best one was the Hittite war chariot. The chariot had two wheels and a wooden frame covered with leather and was pulled by twoor sometimes four horses, It was easy to manage.
The chariot not only could helped us for wars, it could also help us for trading, and specially for moving thing we needed for our rituals we made. So besides to help us for political thing, it also helped us with religious things.
In the 2000 BC, the Hittites occupied Anatolia that was a high, rocky plateau, rich in timber and agriculture so it was good for us to get new thing to eat and to trade. It helped us to grow as an empire.
