The Great Gatsby

Nick Carraway has recently moved near his cousin Daisy and next door to a man named Jay Gatsby. Gatsby throws large parties and many people come to them.
Little did Nick know, Gatsby and Daisy had an extremely close past together. But now daisy was married and tried to bury her feelings for him.
Nick had realized this and Gatsby asked him to invite Daisy and himself over for lunch so they could talk in private.
Daisy and Gatsby began to rekindle their love for eachother and Daisy began to invite gatsby to her house with friends so she could see him.
Daisy's husband had a mistress(who was also married.) Then he slowly realized how close Daisy and gatsby were. Gatsby, Nick, Daisy, her husband, Tom, and one of daisys friends went to the city for lunch. On the way back tom had stopped to talk to his mistress and the mistress saw daisy's friend and thought tom was cheating on her. She ran out into the road and got hit by the car gatsby and daisy were in.
The mistress's husband went crazy and searched for whoever killed his wife. He came to the conclusion it was gatsby and shot gatsby while he was floating in the pool. Daisy and her husband left town and only nick and gatsbys father attended the funeral.
