The Pentecost

The day of Pentecost has arrived and they were all together in one place.
Suddenly out of nowhere there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind and it filled the place of where they were sitting.
Their tongues were divided and a fire appeared to them and rested and rested on each one of them.
Now they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues.

Many Jews from all over the world who were staying in Jerusalem heard the sound.
Then they came on the run to the sound.
When they heard them speaking, one after another, their mother tongues they were thunderstruck.
For the life of them the Jews could not figure out what was going.
They kept saying...
Aren't these all Galileans?
They then began to wonder why they could hear them talk in their various mother languages.
They're speaking our languages, describing God's mighty works.
Whats going on here?
Their heads were spinning and they could not figure out what was going on. Some talked about it while others joked.
They're drunk on cheap wine!
How come we're hearing them in our mother languages
