The Sun Mother gave the creatures the power to change their form, but she did not like the result, so she gave birth to two children who were sent to the Earth to become their ancestors and have power over the animals.
FINALLY!

The Sun Mother glided down to Earth and began to walk in all directions and everywhere she walked plants grew.
Take care of this great land, everyone.
Next, she awoke the spirits of the birds and animals. Both the animals and the birds proceeded to burst into the sunshine in a majestic collage of colours.
After realizing all that she had done, the Father of All Spirits was proud of the Sun Mother's work.
Once the Sun Mother had received the Father's nod of approval, she instructed all her creatures to live peacefully and respectfully to the Earth with one another.
Lastly, she rose into the sky became the Sun. That's the Aboriginal Creation Story of The Earth and the Sun Mother.
