- This is Mount St Helens, a once peaceful mountain range in the Rocky Mountains
- However, on May 1980, Mt St Helens Erupted in a fiery explosion, the ash from the eruption had travelled so far, people in the UK could see it!
- The Aftermath was a very devastating one, 57 people were killed and even more lost thier homes, forcing them to leave everything behind
- The Eruption had caused amny trees to fall, these trees ended up in Spirit Lake, just below the mountain
- Inside caves and such, the remains of humans engulfed in ash had been found, the bodies had been engulfed and it left behind a corpse of ash
