- hello class today I'm going to tell u a story about how I found out about Velcro
- I was in the park with my dog then I found a burr was clunged to his fur I wanted to see if it could be turned to something useful.
- so I wanted to experiment it in my lab and I found out The fastener consisted of two components: a lineal fabric strip with tiny hooks that could "mate" with another fabric strip with smaller loops, attaching temporarily, until pulled apart Initially made of cotton, which proved impractical the fastener was eventually constructed with nylon and polyester
- then I named it Velcro
