Abraham

God called Abram to look over the land as far as his eyes could see and then made an unconditional convent by promising that the land would be blessed and Abram and his wife Sarah would have many children.
As Abraham and Sarah started losing hope, God reached out to him and said do not be afraid, I am your shield, a sun is coming, look at the heavens and count the stars, some day you will have as many children as there are stars in the sky.
Years later Abram and Sarai were growing old and still hadn't received a baby. God appeared to Abram again and told him that his name would no longer be Abram, but it would be Abraham which means father of many nations. God also told Abram that Sarai's name would be Sarah. God promised to bless Sarah and told Abraham that she would become pregnant and have a son.
Abraham and Sarah were soon blessed and Gods promise was fulfilled as they had a son named Issac.
Gods promises came true for Abraham and Sarah, Abraham became the father of many nations and from his child came children and from their children more children until Abrahams decendants were truly more numerous then the stars in the sky just as the Lord had promised.
