  • 1: Total Wellness and it's Impact On Your Health
  • Two factors for your health include your life expectancy, and your quality of life. But there are some extra factors for that, and they're called Social Wellness, Physical Wellness, and Mental/Emotional Wellness, but we will mainly be focusing on social and mental/emotional wellness. Social Wellness is the ability to understand and meet the needs of others as well as the ability to interact with, and listen to others. Some examples of people with strong social wellness (found in M1L2 of the Canvas) include, bosses who know co-worker's names, service workers who help achieve customer satisfaction, workers who assist, and answer inquiries with care, leaders that possess empathy and understanding to build partnership. If you feel you don't really coincide with these examples some ways you can improve are taking care of your hygiene/ self in general, acknowledge your strengths and weaknesses, don't be judgmental, be a good friend, be accountable, and honor your commitments. Another thing you must acknowledge is that stress is a healthy thing, and you just need to have the ability to manage it. The three stages are (M1L4) the Alarm stage, the resistance stage, and the exhaustion stage (Possible to go straight into with death of a significant person.). Ways you can deal with this is telling yourself it'll be okay, focusing on what matters most, keeping priorities straight etc.
