  • Hey, Linnie! What do do think about this new proverb; "Even monkeys may fall from the sky." What can you relate it to?
  • I can relate this proverb to something I've done in my life. I really enjoy writing, and I'm not that bad, but I can still fail. Many times I've tried writing and failed miserably.
  • One time , I was writing a story. I didn't do very badly with it and I didn't think I would do too badly with it, but there were still plenty of things that I did wrong.
  • Ok...
  • I think this relates to the proverb because even people who are really accustomed to certain things can fail, and that is what I tend to do in my writing.
  • Perhaps...
  • Well, the thing is, Min was a superb potter. His technique was remarkable. Yet, somehow, he manages to make mistakes.
  • Okay then. Well, how would you say this proverb relates to chapter 7?
  • Min put quite a lot of effort into each of his vessels, in order to make them turn out perfect. He had been doing pottery for so long, but in this chapter, all five his creations didn't make it passed his own inspection.
  • His pottery did indeed have flaws. This proves that even people like Min, who are very good at what they do, can mess up, which is what the proverb says.
