- Exposition- Two families are feuding. The Capulets and the Montagues.
- This scene confesses their love.
- Oh, Romeo, Romeo, why do you have to be a Montague? Swear you love me and it doesn't matter that I am a Capulet and you are a Montague.
- Oh, speak again, bright angel. Call me your 'love' and I will fight an army and forsake everyone for your love.
- Rising Action- Romeo Juliet meet at the Capulet's ball and fall in love.
- Climax- Mercutio and Tybalt fight. Tybalt stabs and kills Mercutio. Romeo avenges him by killing Tybalt.
- Prince: You are banished, Romeo! Get out of Verona!
- Falling Action- Juliet's father has arranged for her to get married to Paris. Juliet goes to Friar Lawrence for a solution, as she is already married to Romeo and they have consummated the marriage (slept together)
- Romeo comes back to Verona believing Juliet has died. Paris and Romeo fight and Paris dies.
- Resolution- Rome drinks the deadly poison. Juliet kills herself. The families end their feud.
