Alcohol is only for the people who can handle themselves, i know i am one of those people.
Women of this time became more outgoing and adventurous. They wore clothing that was more revealing and seductive to men. These clothing designs for were women were also made for a variety of comfort allowing women to move more freely.
Prohibition was a time that alcohol was made illegal. Prohibition was not a strongly enforced but it was a big reason for the upcoming of gangsters. Gangsters/ bootleggers made alcohol easy to obtain.

Alcohol was the main reason that gangsters gained power. They made and distributed alcohol which created wealth. Some of them also managed secret bars (speakeasies). Alcohol created the volume of crime that exist. It started prostitution, Grafts, Extortion etc.
Around the time of the jazz age was the time of the Radio and phonograph. The Radio and Phonograph made music much easily more accessible. People did not understand where the music had originated from but they loved the sound of "jazz".

He married to a women named Zelda Sayre in 1920, they were said to be poison to each other. She was also a great writer but jealousy drove them apart. The lifestyle at that time was very adventurous and energetic. They had a lot of music, parties, and drugs. This time period was also a time of entertainment such as sports, art, and magic. People such as Babe Ruth, Howard Christy, and Harry Houdini all lived through this time period.
