  • Nazi Germany, 1934
  • Why are textbooks now all about Nazi race theories and Germany's future as the greatest nation?
  • Nazi Power
  • Buy a radio and listen to Hitler  speeches!
  • Nazi Germany, 1934
  • Family values  are important!
  • Join the Hitler Youth!!
  •
  •
  • Come to  one-pot sundays and give your  profit to the nazi party!
  • Nazi Germany, 1938
  • What we are learining today: -Jews are bad and evil. -The peace settlement was unfair. -Hitler's biography.
  • I got to a page which said that schools were under Nazi control and they had taken out all jewish teachers, the ones left needed to take a loyalty oath and join the Nazi teacher's league. All of their textbooks were changed, and now they did more physical activity.
  • Nazi Germany, late 1939
  • I still haven't gotten a job since I lost mine because of the war.
  • Yes, and the rations of food they gave us for this week's meals are too poor. We are barely eating a piece of bread every meal.
  • HItler also started doing mass rallies in which he celebrated everything he could. There were also events organized by Hitler youth or the SA to collect funds for the Nazi party. Goebbels also made the streets full of posters about Hitler youth, family values and against jews, people were laso given these.
  • Present, 2000
  • I wish I knew what happened next. His diary is amazing and I admire my grandpa for not being against the jews.
  • A little bit futher in the book, my grandpa had been forced into being part of HItler youth, as he was already 15 years old. He was military trained, learning discipline and other basic skills. He also did a lot of physical activity to boost his finess. He was also taught about how bad the jews were, how the peace treaty was wrong and Hitler's life.
  • Present, 2000
  • Were you too bored, Emma?
  • Did you find something interesting to do?
  • At the end of the diary, my grandpa explained what happened to the german people just after the war started. He said they started having food, clothing and job shortage. After a while, food and clothes rationing began, and the black market was fluorishing. Germany was bombing other countries, but the worst was yet to come.
  • Well, let's just hope that bombs don't get to us, now.
  • I was amazed at how my grandpa was able to maintain his opinion on jews being innocent, after being said his whole life otherwise and his country being under Hitler's control.
  • Just in time when I finished the book, my granpareents and parents came back. I had to run as fast as I could from the book room to the living room as soon as I heard the key opening the door.
  • It was ok. I did find some kind of interesting stuff.
  • I meant... AMAZING STUFF!!
