Macbeth: Act 1, Scene 4 By Audrey Eaton
Has the Thane of Cawdor been executed yet?
Yessir, I received word from one of the men that saw him die.
Macbeth, how could I ever repay you for what you've done?
Working for you has been the greatest reward.
I shall name you the new Thane of Cawdor, Macbeth. I shall also name my son, Malcolm, as the prince of Cumberland, my successor.
I will tell my wife of the good news.
Now that Malcolm has been named the prince of Cumberland, I must give up on becoming the ruler, or do whatever I can to claim the throne.
