The matter in the ice cube turned into a liquid because environment it was placed/ it wasn't cold enough.
Dry ice first starts off as a normal looking ice cube. It goes from a solid to a gas through a process called sublimation and it would be endothermic.
Particles in the solid would move less than the liquid particles.
In an endothermic reaction heat is absorbed. Endothermic also means increasing energy so Kinetic energy would be increasing.
Dry ice can also be very dangerous at times, if touched with bare hands/skin you can get hurt because the ice is so cold that it causes frostbite.
For dry ice to go from a solid to a liquid it would go through the melting process where you would have to go through a 24 hour process of keeping it in a container.
A liquid to a solid would would be freezing the process would also be exothermic.
A melted chocolate bar would be a good example because you would be returning the chocolate bar to its original state by freezing it.
This is an example of a gas to a liquid because the cold beverage has waterdroplets forming on the outside of the can this is condensation and it is also exothermic.
As she walks she would be moving because she is moving from one place to another.
Evaporation happens when a liquid turns into a gas (endothermic) an example would be while running you sweat and you sit down for a few moments and the sweat dries.
The transition from a gas to a liquid is also known as deposition.
Water vapor would transform into ice without it becoming a liquid, this is a process that often occurs on windows during the winter.
