  • The Americans VS The Native Americans
  • August 20, 1794
  • The Native Americans formed a Western Confederacy and tried to stop the Americans from western settlement.
  • To deal with the Native Americans, the Americans decided to Attack Shawnee and Miami Islands, but then were defeated after two battles with the Native Americans 
  • x2 Battles 
  • The battle, however was not over, when American troops lost to the Native Americans, under General Arthur St. Claire, who fought the Battle of Wabash
  • Tensions rose between the Americans and the Indians, and 1,500 Miami, Shawnee, Ottawa, and Ojibwa Indians decided to attach on a supply train.
