- Burt took Charlie to the 5th floor at Beekman University. He told Charlie what they were going to do.
- Would you like to race Algernon?
- Sure.
- This is where Charlie met his soon to be friend Algernon the mouse.
- Charlie was amazed hat the little white mouse could do that maze.
- Burt wants Charlie to race Algernon. Charlie agrees.
- Charlie and Algernon race. Sadly, Algernon beats Charlie in the first race.
- Charlie and Algernon raced ten more times. Every time they raced Algernon won.
