The Dread Scott Case/Missouri Compromise By: Carly Horn
Dread Scott's life was hard being a slave because he would get pushed around and worked too hard some days. It wasn't easy either. Working for other people can be challenging, depending on what they want you to do.
Dread Scott was moved to a lot of places with his owner, Dr. Emerson who was a doctor for injured army workers. Dread was taken from a slave state to a free state and back to a slave state. When he was in the free state he thought he should have been freed.
