- Victor is trying to admire Teresa. The school is about to start, and he can' think of anything else but Teresa!!! Meanwhile, his friend, Michael, is busy about scowling toward a girl, as she is at the card table.
- I think it works!!! Belinda Reyes walked by a while ago and looked at me!
- Teresa going to be my girl this year!!

- Just give me my card! Ugh!!

- Victor is at the lunch table, trying to find Teresa, while pretending to read his book. He can't see her anywhere, until he finds her under a plum tree. He can't wait for the next class, which is French, and Victor and Teresa are in the same class!!!
