The Outsiders by S.E. Hilton
Johnny we have to save those poor innocent children.
Pony, I am going in
Some one please help us!😭
Ponyboy is walking down the side walk when suddenly, 5 Socs pop out of a red car and grab him. This is the first time Ponyboy has ever gotten into a fight. And he was scared
The Socs come looking for Johnny and Ponyboy. One of the Socs try to drown Ponyboy, but Johnny saves him by stabbing and killing him with a knife that he was carrying.
Pony boy and johnny hear cries from the building that is on fire and make their way into the building to save the day. They successfully got all of the children out and safe but things still didn't go as planned. The roof of the building collapsed while johnny was in it. Pieces of the roof fell on johnny and broke his back, paralyzing him from his waist down. Eventually killing him.
After johnny killed the Soc, the greasers and the Socs agreed to have a rumble(a street fight between gangs or large groups). The Greasers ended up beating the socs in the rumble but they were all left with battle scars. When they got home They got a call stating that Dally has robbed a store and was on the run. Everyone new Dally would never, but he couldn't handle the pain of knowing that johnny is dead. He was shot and killed by the police leaving all of the Greasers in tears.
In order to come to terms with the deaths and his experiences, Pony Boy begins to write about the Greasers as part of a homework assignment. The ending is the way the story begins as Pony sits down and starts writing the story about the Greasers. All the deaths that struck the greasers were very heartbreaking, and affected all of there lives.
