The Parable of the Prodigal and his Brother
This storyboard does not have a description.
A crowd had gathered to listen to another parable from Jesus...
There was a man who had two sons. The younger one asked for a share of the property that will belong to him.
The son gathered his belongings and travelled to a distant country, living a dissolute life.
When he had spent everything, a famine hit the land. He left the country, but still with no food, he thought;
How many of my father's slaves have enough bread to spare, yet I am here dying of hunger! I will go back to my Father, and apologise.
The son said to his father;
Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.
The father forgave him, killed a calf and threw him a party.
The older son was in the field, and when he heard music, asked a slave what was happening. When the slave told him that his brother had returned he was enraged.
All of these years I've been slaving for my father, and never disobeyed his orders. But when the son who disobeyed him comes back, a party gets thrown!
The father came to him and explained;
You are always with me and everything I have is yours. But we had to celebrate because your brother was dead, and is alive again.
