I can't believe this could happen, to me of all people?!
Ahhh! I can't even hear myself think! When will these voices go away?
Whoo! Go stupid! Go crazy!
Lori was just a little girl when she had her first heartbreak. She didn't want to accept the heartbreak and started hearing voices soon after, she tried running from the voices, but never to avail.
Lori thinks that these voices are normal to people and gives every attempt to make it seem as if she is perfectly fine, but in fact these voices are slowly getting worse.
Before her college graduation trip, Lori asks her parents to see a therapist and counselors because her problems have got so bad, but she doesn't tell them what her problems are. When she goes on the trip she starts smoking, her highs get higher and the lows, lower.
After Lori graduates, she moves in with her friend, Lori Winters, and works in New York. Lori gets more crazy, and her parents disregard the signs of her being really sick.
Lori OD's twice on pills prescribed to her, and her parents give every attempt to prevent her from going to psychiatric ward of the hospital. At the ward, she claims that she can even "fly," which drives her parents nuts.
She is diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, and her parents blame themselves over and over for causing this disorder, she is released from the hospital, but still has to take a lot of medication, and still feels lonely.
