  • I can't believe the king is making us buy one companies tea.
  • The king ordered them to buy only one companies tea because the colonist have already  boycotted buying british goods. So instead of buying something from britian he made them buy something from the colonies.
  • The Boston tea party was caused by the tea act. the tea act was were Parliament put a tax on tea. 
  • Because of the tax on tea the colonists boycotted tea. Which means that they avoided buying that certain companies tea.
  • I'm going to avoid tea 
  • The reason the colonists boycotted the tea is because the king wouldn't let the colonists come to the parliament's meetings so they said "Taxation without Representation is unfair.
  • Some of the effects were that the tea was dumped in the ocean by colonists dressed like mohawk indians.
  • The colonists dressed up as indians and sang a song.
