School this year wasn't for me at the beginning. Sleep had always felt limited but, not like this. Here's the story of my sleep schedule.
Why do you always come home looking so tired?
I...I don't know. This new school is so draining.
A while ago, I was still adjusting to the school work that was given to me. I spent several nights staying up until 1am doing these assignments. I wasn't sure if I was procrastinating too much or maybe I'm not doing these assignments fast enough.
I usually make a schedule for all the tasks I need to complete. Try not to stay up late too.
Every school day, I barely wake up with any energy at all. I guess only 6 hours of sleep is really getting to me. I always feel bad having to force my mom to wake me up all the time.

After school, I would try to come home early and rush upstairs to take a quick nap, but soon, my mom noticed that I wasn't sleeping very well. I didn't want to tell the truth, but the school stress was driving me insane.
After getting to know some of the people at my school, I asked them if they had some advice for me about staying up late. My history teacher gave me a few tips on how to deal with stress.
Ever since I made my own planner and practiced sleeping early, I've been able to finish my homework and get enough sleep for the next day. It's been a while since I've been able to sleep soundly without the thought of homework being too close to the deadline.
