No more burning draft cards! It is now illegal.

Guess what we can’t burn our draft cards. They made a law on it you can get up to 3/5 years in jail!
people started to rebel.
The prez has had enough of the burning of draft cards. He made a law in 1965 that it was illegal and whoever burned there draft cards would be put in jail.
People started to hear about the law and that made them even more angry and filled with rage. A pair of men one named Eugene Keyes heard about this and was ready to start a movement.
On May 1964 he was one of the first people to get regonized for burning his draft card. Which was on a cold Christmas winter day.
