  • my family has no money i need to smuggle molasses for our food.
  • i am poor from paying the British all these taxes.
  • yes, i found the jackpot.
  • get out of my house!
  • help me.
  • you are under arrest!
  • (Sugar Act) The British taxed the colonist so much that the colonist had to resource to smuggling in molasses.
  • We are going to revolte against the British !   
  • Now that the colonists started to smuggle molasses. The British enforced a law that officers were aloud to go into the homes of the colonist and look for smuggled  goods.
  • we are going to get our own
  • noooo!
  • Some of the colonist were falsely accused  for smuggling molasses , or they were beaten up by the officers.
  • we have no more revenue .
  • OK, i will repeal the act!
  • The colonist began to form boycotts to revolte against the British. And one of the boycotts was called the Sons of Liberty.
  • The colonist stopped buying the British goods so that the British would loss their revenue.
  • In the end the British lost all of their revenue so they decided to repeal the act.
