- We ran out to the living room to see all the presents sitting there. All wrapped up perfectly tied with ribbons. We hoped all we wished for was inside the covered boxes.
- We both sat down and opened our presents excitedly. Getting all the toys we wished for, we couldn't have been happier. Santa was real and definitely saw our wish list.
- Then, with anticipated faces, our mom and dad told us that had one more surprise. A big one and it was from them and not Santa. We thought about what it could be.
- We sat together and talked about what we thought this big gift could be. We talked about a trampoline, a new play set. All sorts of things but nothing would compare to what our gift would be.
- Then our dad came walking in with a hug present. Loosely wrapped. What could be inside the box? We had never been so excited. We had no idea what would be sitting inside.
- And inside was a new puppy! We couldn't help from smiling and we were so excited to have a new pet. This was our very best Christmas present ever! And his name was Bentley, our new best friend!
