  • The history of food trucks By: Khloe, Emma, Tatyana, Maissa, and Architha
  • Hello My name is Charles Goodnight and I am going to tell you about the history of food trucks. But first there is one question everyone has which is, do they make a lot of money? Yes they are used just to make money and have huge profits.
  • It first started out when Walter Scott cut windows in a small covered wagon. He sold sandwiches with pies and coffee to those who were late.
  • Then the next food truck I, Charles Goodnight, created in the mid 1900's. It was difficult for me to feed the cattlemen a decent meal because they were always on the move.
  • I came up with the idea of taking an old army wagon and I stocked it with dry preserves, salted meats and silverware. This became known as the invention of the chuck wagon or one of the first food trucks.
  • Now back to the present. A famous chef named Kogi Roy Choi made a food truck made a food truck famous by posting on twitter and telling everybody. Now this is how people make a food truck famous. Everyone asks where are they most popular and that is in California or New York.
  •  What is the most common food truck and how much does it cost to rent it? Would I be able to go a school that has a food truck?
  • The most common food truck is The Grilled Cheese and it cost at least $100 a day to rent it, but some schools have food trucks too
